Splash

Some of our friends from high school came to Austin for the weekend, and we all went to the great kids pool in Taylor's neighborhood. This was Gwen's first time to go swimming. She had fun being outside as usual, but I think she thought the water was a little too cold. She was OK with her feet in, but didn't seem quite ready to take a dip. Here are some shots of her fun in the sun.

Strawberry

Gwen loves to look at her dad's silly-looking face, but Dad can't compete with this:


She'll stare at this toy for an hour. Strawberry and Elephant are in a tight competition for top toy.

Hands!

This week marked an exciting development for Gwen. She started using her hands to grab toys and play with them. Here's a video of her playing with one of her favorite toys.

Fun in Dallas

Sorry that it has been so long since the last post. Gwen is doing great. While I was out of town this weekend, Megan, Gwen, and Marathon headed up to Dallas to spend a few days at Nana and Papa's.
Before going on stage at a festival in England, I got a call from an excited Megan. Gwen had just rolled over for the first time! She rolled from her tummy onto her back. We haven't been able to recreate that magical roll just yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing it. Here are a few photos. Thanks to Charlie and MaryLynn for these great shots.
