Fall is here

It was here last week, anyway. This week it feels like summer again. A few mornings in the 50s last week gave us an excuse to get out some of Gwen's cooler weather clothes. She sure does look cute in a hoodie, huh? I took her for her first trip out to Bull Creek park the morning of this photo.

Old MacDonald

So, thanks to Chris and Nancy for lending Gwen the "exersaucer." Today was the first day we tried it out, and Gwen exersauced a lot. She loves it! She has so much fun in that thing. I'm not sure how she feels about the exersaucer's rendition of Old MacDonald, though. In this video, I love the way she pushes the cow button, hears the "moo," and excitedly looks up at me like, "Hey Dad, did you hear that?" She presses the button again and hears the word cow. "Cool!" she thinks. She presses again and hears cow, but this time in Spanish. "Say what?" But then the fourth time she presses it, she doesn't seem too happy with the results. It makes me laugh everytime.

Clear some room on the fridge...

Gwen's first artwork! Mostly I was just trying to keep her from eating the crayon. Still, it was fun to see her make a few marks on the paper.
Gwen's hair often looks very reddish, especially in the sunlight. The camera flash brings out the red in this photo.

Baby Steps

Did she actually do that?

Playing catch...

Rolling Over

She rolled over for the first time on Sept 3rd (from her tummy on to her back.) I grabbed the camera, and she was kind enough to roll over one more time for proof. Today (Sept 11) she rolled over the other direction for the first time, but I don't have any video of that, yet. Soon she'll be rolling all over the house.
I'm a bit embarrassed by my falsetto, "Yeah, good job!" but that's what she responds to the most.
